We represented a 62 year old gentleman after he was struck by a commercial transportation vehicle while crossing in a crosswalk. The client sustained a significant brain injury as a result of this incident. He spent several months in a comatose state and was later transferred to a nursing home to live out his remaining days. Ultimately, the client lost his life as a result of injuries sustained in this incident. The case was settled in the amount of $1 million shortly after litigation was commenced.
