Off Duty Police Officer Injured in Car Accident
Our client was a 38 year old police officer who was off-duty when his vehicle was rear-ended at a high speed. There was significant property damage to both of the vehicles involved in the collision. Our client received back injuries.
Our client had previously sustained similar injuries to the same area 10 months before this crash and three years before this crash. He treated with physician visits, chiropractic visits and physical therapy.
The other driver's insurance company argued that no one should be found negligent for this rear-end collision.
However, the jury found for our client and determined that he had suffered a permanent injury and awarded him $25,000 for past pain and disability, $30,000 for future medical expenses and $85,000 in future pain and disability.
