Distracted driver causes car crash
In 2007, a bread delivery truck driver who was on his cell phone crashed into the vehicle of our client who was on his way to work in Wabasha, Minn. Our client suffered a brain injury and shoulder and neck and knee injuries, and has since had memory problems.
The truck driver's insurance company initially offered our client $250,000. "This was lower than our expectations," said Harry Sieben, Sieben and Michael Miller took the case to trial and received a verdict of $1.2 million.
Today our client, an ex-Marine, is back at his job with UPS, and relieved, as Sieben tells it, "that the jury believed him."
