Our client was a passenger on a motorcycle that was struck by an SUV that ran a red light. The driver of the SUV had been drinking and left the accident scene. Months later, after extensive police investigation aided by the law firm's investigator, the police charged the driver of the SUV with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, he was found guilty and served time in jail.

Our client nearly lost her leg as a result of the accident. Though doctors were able to save the leg, she has undergone 14 surgeries and suffers permanent injury to that leg.

Harry Sieben and Jeff Sieben filed a lawsuit against both the driver and owner of the SUV.  Unfortunately they were not insured.  We were able to obtain $50,000, the policy limits, from our client's own uninsured motorist coverage on her parent's automobile insurance policy.  The driver and owner of the SUV were ordered by the court to pay $2,000,000 to cover our client's expenses.
