Minnesota Family Sues Cargill After Daughter Sickened
"We're asking Cargill to take responsibility for what they've done."
A Minnesota family has filed a federal lawsuit against Cargill, claiming their daughter got E.coli poisoning from one of the company's beef patties that were later recalled.
The Hemmingson family, of Mahtomedi, says their daughter, spent a month at St. Paul Children's Hospital. The family's current medical bills and future medical needs are expected to top $4 million dollars, according to the lawsuit. The company and the family could not agree on a settlement.
