Labor Guard Event
SiebenCarey was recently honored to join labor leaders for a special event at Camp Ripley with the Minnesota National Guard. The gathering provided a unique opportunity to promote military careers and activities while exploring how the education and service of military members are synergistic with careers in the construction trades.
“There are many labor members who are former military and many who are currently serving part-time in the National Guard and Reserve forces of the United States,” said Harry Sieben, who attended the event with fellow SiebenCarey attorneys Jeffrey Sieben and Cory Whalen. “I think our friends in the Trades learned a lot during the event,” Sieben continued, “and reaffirmed their support for the military. And the Guard did the same in regards to the union tradesmen in their ranks.”“We are proud to help facilitate events like this,” said Jim Carey, Managing Partner at SiebenCarey. “Our work with both organizations really goes to the heart of our commitment to hard working men and women who serve their communities and their country.”SiebenCarey has a long tradition of support for both organized labor and our nation’s military.Harry Sieben served in the U.S. Army and the Minnesota National Guard, finishing his distinguished career as a Major General.
